Wrist Tool Lanyard (Swivel & Elastic) Buckle Fastening

Description

The (Swivel & Elastic) wrist tool lanyard is made in the UK by Leading Edge. The design pulls together the user advantages of using a wrist lanyard i.e. easy tool pick-up, ideally suited for single tool repetitive use, as well as users working at height where it is essential to prevent dropped tools and where it helps to have the tool accessible for speed and efficiency.  Whilst combining the benefits of an elasticated lanyard in reducing tripping, snagging hazards and lowers impact force on the wrist from a dropped tool.  This wrist lanyard incorporates a swivel into the system preventing the lanyard from twisting when rotating the tool in applications such as scaffolding, where the user is turning the tool continually i.e. a podger, ratchet etc., therefore reducing entanglement and preventing connector failure from miss-loading the minor axis.  All Leading Edge wrist lanyards have a unique safety release expansion joint, preventing de-gloving in an accident.  The design makes it possible for the wrist strap to come free in an emergency releasing the hand from becoming drawn into potential hazards should their tool/lanyard become caught-up, as for example in rotating machinery.  The expansion joint is available in two options i.e. full expansion and a half expansion joint.
